After the presentation of the results of the Games in schools study, European Schoolnet is pleased to announce that The Games in Schools Community of Practice report is now available. The report summarizes the discussions which took place between members of the community in the weeks leading up to the Games in School final conference at the Council of Europe. The Insight thematic dossier explores the place of electronic games in schools.

The first results and key findings of the STEPS study will be presented and discussed with high level experts and stakeholders at a workshop (www.steps-workshop.eu) co-organised by European Schoolnet and Empirica which will take place on 25 June 2009 in the premises of the European Commission in Brussels.

The 2008 series of the Insight country reports is now complete with the contribution from Switzerland and France. The annual update, compiled with the help of policy makers in the 31 member countries of EUN, aims to present ICT trends in school education.

The proceedings of SIRTEL'08 and SE@M’08, two workshops ran by European Schoolnet at the third European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning (EC-TEL'08), have been published and are now available online respectively at http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-382 and http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-385. EC-TEL’08 was held in Maastricht (the Netherlands) on 17 September 2008.
