Building a Learning Resource Exchange (LRE) for Schools
September 8-9, 2008 – Leuven, Belgium
This workshop is designed for technical staff (with a working knowledge of the Java programming language) of organisations that wish to:
The workshop will provide an in-depth introduction to the technology used by the LRE (protocols and APIs). The developers will then have an opportunity to produce and test the code necessary to connect a system (repository or learning system) to the LRE federation.This workshop is designed for technical staff (with a working knowledge of the Java programming language) of organisations that wish to:
- Make their educational content available via the Learning Resource Exchange (LRE) for schools and/or
- Get access to the learning resource of the LRE.
Attendance at the workshop is free of charge but delegates must pay their own travel and subsistence.
